Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in the month of January in 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo who is from the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was made at Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk have been the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She also plays the role of drama instructor on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her most fond memories of watching TV and attending play rehearsals. Silk featured in a number of commercials when she was a kid. The Bachelor in Arts was awarded to her by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was active in at least two early theater productions including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved to Toronto for further development of her acting career in November 1999. She then, over the decade that followed, she relocated in the following decade to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at the Actors Workshop located in Los Angeles, in 2007. The couple got married in December of 2009 in a civil wedding ceremony. The couple got married in Fredericton on the 10th of April in 2011they renewed their vows, following Silk's conversion to Judaism. Silk was blessed with the son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Her son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk's work on television includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009 Silk was a part of Bo Dennis, the lead character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk revealed to fans the good announcement that she became pregnant on the set of Season 3. The show was a pre-show exclusive for Season Three. This was presented by Showcase at an exclusive Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the premiere. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th, 2013 that the show would return to the production. The fourth season debuted on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the same-sex couple in Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared that they were the top TV Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Due to Silk's popularity Silk has garnered a prominent online following on social media.
